The Southampton varsity football team will look to get back on track on Sept. 21 when they travel to face Wyandanch at 2 p.m.
The Mariners are coming off a season-opening loss to Port Jefferson on Sept. 7. Last year Southampton posted a 3-5 record and missed the playoffs, but sometimes an extra win or two can be the difference that propels them into 2013 playoff contention.
Can Southampton put together a run of wins and make the play-offs?
