Wagner said she also plans to share what she's learning with her colleagues.
In Prague, Wagner will participate in a creativity workshop, “where she will explore strategies for using activities such as free-form drawing, photography, storytelling, and mindfulness to bridge academic achievement and background knowledge gaps among students Central American and native English speakers. English speakers,” the district said.
Wagner was awarded $5,000 for her “unwavering commitment to creating a transformative learning experience, one that feeds your curiosity and positively impacts your students,” according to the Fund for Teachers organization.
