The 32nd annual Mighty Hamptons Triathlon takes place Sunday in Sag Harbor, and Southampton Town Police are warning of possible traffic.
The triathlon takes place between 6 and 11 am, starting in Long Beach. The bike and run segment travels through many byways around Sag Harbor, Noyac, North Sea, Water Mill, Bridgehampton and North Haven.
“A large number of people are expected to attend and traffic delays should be anticipated and anticipated, especially on Noyac Road, Majors Path, Head of Pond Road, Scuttlehole Road, Brick Kiln Road, Stoney Hill Road, Long Beach Road and Route 114. ” the police said in a statement. “Motorists are urged not to drive in these areas during this time, but if you must, please use caution,” they said.
