“In light of the expected conditions resulting from the forecast of heavy snow, high winds and coastal flooding over the next 24 hours, Southampton Town Supervisor Jay Schneiderman has declared a snow emergency effective midnight tonight,” a statement said. city's.
“The snow emergency will remain in effect throughout the day tomorrow, Tuesday, March 14. Drivers are encouraged to stay off the road during the snow emergency and take extra care if travel is absolutely necessary.”
