Everyone in the audience stood and applauded the presentation of PILLOWMAN, a play by Martin McDonagh that opened at LTV Studios in East Hampton on Thursday, April 25th.
Directed by Stephen Hamilton, the project is produced by Josh Gladstone along with Kassar Productions in association with LTV Studios.
This production is a successful intense, riveting example of the raw power of live theatre. The cast of four deliver incredible individual performances that shock the audience through some brutal moments in this show, but also bring pure laughter to the crowd.

Edward Kassar is a total ticket with another lights out performance. Watching Mr. Cassar and his soaring voice activate a stage, an audience, and a performance is like a first-time religious experience. His portrayal of Tupolski is award winning in itself.
John Kroft does some serious heavy lifting with his amazing talent. Playing the role of 'Katurian', he pilots huge scenes of intense descriptive dialogue with the allure of a chorus boy rising to the stage.

Ariel is played by Joe Pallister who always brings a huge skill set along with pure lion energy.
Once again, Sawyer Spielberg's ability to subtly steal scenes with a line, expression, or gesture is on full display with his performance of “Michael.”
The Pillowman opened this Thursday April 25th and runs until Sunday May 5th at 7:30pm.
Director Stephen Hamilton landed this show brilliantly. His signature vision of 'all things theatre' shines once again on a live stage production. His ability to present and promote unforgettable performances from his actors is an East End legend.
