SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — With the first cold snow of the season on Christmas Eve, Southampton students are doing what they can to keep community members warm.
Members of the Southampton Intermediate School Early Act Service Club, under the direction of RoseAnn Gentile, are collecting gently used coats, the district said.
All the coats collected will be donated to the nonprofit Human Resources of the Hamptons in January, the district said.
