SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — In the bustling Hamptons, to-die-for homes are in need of a big makeover. But even among the wealthiest of the rich, there are still a few streets that are a step up in price for beautiful historic mansions with breathtaking views.
According to a new report by Property Shark, which took a look at the Top 10 most expensive streets in the Hamptons in 2018, the top streets were in Sagaponack, Bridgehampton and Southampton.
Property Shark said it looked at all home sales that closed in the Hamptons between January and December 2018, calculated the median sales price for each street and determined those with the highest median prices.
The report said Parsonage Lane in Sagaponack was the #1 most expensive street in the Hamptons for 2018, with an average sales price of $15 million. At $2 was Jobs Lane in Bridgehampton, with an average sale price of just under $11 million. Then in third place was Captain's Neck Lane in Southampton, with an average sale price of $8.6 million, Property Shark said.
With high prices, some of the grand mansions being sold on the streets have been linked to celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Ralph Lauren, Raymond and Kevin Durant, the report said.
Meanwhile, on East Hampton's tony Further Lane, stunning properties had an average sale price of $7.3 million in 2018, with 189 Further Lane the most expensive sale on the street at $13.6 million, the report said .
