SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — A rollover crash on County Road 39 in Southampton slowed traffic Wednesday morning, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, a call came in at 8:44 a.m. about a crash just east of Sandy Hollow Road in the westbound lane. Officials arrived at the scene to find a vehicle on its side, Brenner said.
Southampton Fire Chief Manny Escobar was in charge of the incident.

Westbound traffic is being diverted onto North Sea Road. Eastbound traffic was able to move slowly.
Minor injuries were reported in the crash, Brenner said. Southampton Volunteer Ambulance transported the injured to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
