HAMPTON BAY, N.Y. — A pedestrian was struck in Hampton Bays on Wednesday, police said.
According to Southampton Police at approximately 5:01 p.m., the Town of Southampton Police Department responded to the intersection of Springville Road and Neptune Avenue in reference to a report of a collision with a pedestrian.
The Southampton Town Police Department and New York State Police are currently investigating the incident, authorities said.

Springville Road is currently closed to all traffic in both directions from King Street to Nassau Road, police said.
