Mary Parker, of Southampton, died at her home on September 5, 2015 after a long illness. It was 93.
Parker was born in Southampton to parents Peter and Maryanna Zubrzycki.
She met her husband, Charles Parker, during World War II when he was stationed in Montauk at the Naval Base. They lived in Southampton all their married life.
Parker spent most of her days reading recipes, watering her gardens, and feeding and watching the birds. She was always ready to make her grandchildren's favorite cookie recipes.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles, and her brothers, Peter, Anthony, Leo and Joseph.
She is survived by four daughters, Judy Musnicki of Bridgehampton, Linda Liehr and husband Joe of Southampton, Patty Foster and husband Ron of Sag Harbor and Carol Grugel and Chuck Lehman of Murrells Inlet, SC, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Ann McGee of West Palm Beach, FLA and sister-in-law, Betty Meyer of Newark, OH.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made to East End Hospice, 481 Westhampton-Riverhead Road, PO Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-7048 and Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance Company, PO Box 832, Southampton, New York 11969.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of O'Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. Burial was in Calverton National Cemetery.
