Fourth graders at Sag Harbor Elementary School gave presentations about their family holiday traditions during a holiday museum held in their classrooms on Wednesday, December 17th.
The museum, fourth-grade teacher Liz Surozenski said, was an opportunity not only to bring the magic of the holiday season to life in the classroom, but also for students to improve their writing, research and speaking skills.
As part of their individual presentations, students in all four fourth-grade classes wrote poems and essays, researched the history of their family traditions, created desktop presentations, and spoke about their traditions to visiting family members.
