North Sea, N.Y. — A Southampton man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car crash in North Sea Friday night, police said.
According to Southampton Police, the crash occurred at 9:24 p.m. on Noyack Street in the area of Old Sag Harbor Road.
Luis F. Pena, 24, was southbound on Noyack Street before the collision with another vehicle, police said. Pena attempted to flee the scene of the collision, which resulted in an injury, police said.

Pena was arrested and taken to Southampton Police headquarters for arrest processing and held to appear in Southampton Town Court for a morning arraignment, police said. He was charged with misdemeanor DWI, leaving the scene of a collision with injury and several New York State vehicle and traffic law violations, police said.
