FLANDERS, N.Y. — A Flanders man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday after hitting two parked cars, police said.
According to Southampton Police, the incident occurred at approximately 10:43 p.m. a three-car crash was reported in the area of Evergreen Road and Priscilla Avenue, authorities said.
Patrol units responded and found that Jeremias Sicajau-Cotzojay, 43, had drifted out of his lane and struck two unoccupied vehicles parked on the shoulder of Evergreen Road, police said.
No injuries were reported, police said.
Sicajau-Cotzojay was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. DWI, a misdemeanor; and traffic violations, police said.
He was taken to Southampton police headquarters, where he was processed and held for arraignment in the morning, police said.
