I'm so excited to be in Chicago. I am very excited to be back and living in Chicago, having grown up here after living in Los Angeles for the past 9 years. However, I am also very excited to have the opportunity to write a weekly blog for an NFL website…and cover the Green Bay Packers.
This wasn't such a big deal when I lived in Los Angeles, as Los Angeles doesn't have its own NFL team, so I didn't feel like such a traitor every week cheering for the Packers and tweeting #GoPackGo as I live-tweeted every game. It's not so easy being a Green Bay Packers fan now that I'm back in Chicago. My dad likes to remind me how I would so gleefully call out the 1985 Bears roster while doing the Superbowl scramble as a precocious 7-year-old. I try to save face by mentioning some of the Chicago Bears on the current roster that I know personally and have contacts on my cell phone, but I know he still feels a slight tug in his already weakened heart.
