Golden Globes 2025 in Photos: Best moments + glittering fashion designs

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.— Sunday's 82nd annual Golden Globes kicked off a competitive 2025 awards season. The award was hosted by Nikki Glaser at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and was filled with plenty of viral moments. From Glaser roasting Timothée Chalamet's mustache to celebrity appearances on the red carpet, there was no shortage of memorable moments from the ceremony.

Brutalist and Emilia Pérez swept several film categories. Brady Corbet and Adrien Brody took home the awards for best director and best actor in a drama, respectively. Meanwhile, Zoe Saldana won best actress in a musical or comedy, along with her film winning best picture in the same category. Wicked was mostly shut out at the awards ceremony. However, the successful film took the “cinematic and grossing achievement” award.

Shogun swept most of the TV categories, winning for Best TV Drama as well as Best Actor and Best Actress for Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai.

Not only were the shiny Golden Globe trophies on full display, but so were the many stars on the red carpet. Ariana Grande stunned in a butter Givenchy dress and Zendaya turned heads in an orange Louis Vuitton gown. Glittering metallics were the theme of the night with Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Mikey Madison and Demi Moore all wearing sparkly gowns.
