HOLLYWOOD, CA — Movie and TV fans, get excited! It's time to rock up and get ready to watch the 81st Golden Globe Awards, hosted by comedian Jo Koy on Sunday, January 7.
At this year's edition of the Golden Globes, expectations are high as the Globes attempt to rebuild their prestigious reputation after several years of scandalous ethical lapses and excessive practices.
As a result, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has long been dissolved after Eldridge Industries along with Dick Clark Productions acquired the rights and properties for the Golden Globes earlier this year. The Golden Globes then also found a new home at CBS after longtime broadcast partner NBC opted not to renew the contract.
Will 'Barbie' score at this year's Golden Globes? Or how Greta Gerwig's whimsical take on the iconic doll's story fares against Christopher Nolan's excellent biopic Oppenheimer in the film categories?
Will HBO's “Succession” dominate FX's “The Bear” and Hulu's “Only Murders in the Building” in the TV categories?
Will Taylor Swift attend this year's Golden Globes? Will the mega-pop star finally win a Golden Globe after earning the nod for her record-breaking film, 'The Eras Tour'?
Here's how to watch the 2024 Golden Globes and all the preview events so you can get the answers to these burning questions in real time.
