SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. —A Coram woman was arrested Tuesday after charging more than $5,000 to a Southampton resident's credit card, police said.
According to Southampton Police, a call came in on Dec. 17 from a woman reporting unauthorized credit card transactions dating back to November 2022.
The woman said there were multiple charges on her credit card for Uber rides, Uber Eats, Uber liquor/wine and Apple.com totaling $5174.77, police said.
Detectives investigated, and on Tuesday, Alison Galaris, 51, was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony, police said. He was convicted at Southampton Magistrates' Court
Court, police said.
