EAST END, N.Y. — Police warned South Fork residents of “extensive road closures and gridlock” Friday with former President Donald Trump's reported visit to the Hamptons for a fundraiser.
According to Southampton Town Police, residents can expect road closures and congestion in the afternoon and evening in the Westhampton, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Shinnecock Hills, North Sea, Water Mill and Bridgehampton areas.
Trump is expected to attend a fundraiser at the home of Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick, who hopes to raise more than $10 million at the dinner, according to Bloomberg.
