The Long Island Ducks won the Atlantic League championship for the second year in a row by defeating the Somerset Patriots 6-4 on Sunday.
The Ducks had won the first two games of the series before Somerset took two extra games to force a fifth and deciding game in New Jersey.
Long Island won the title last year when they beat the Lancaster Barnstormers in five games.
The Ducks also won the 2004 championship.
