The city is now accepting applications for water quality projects under the Community Conservation Fund. The Water Quality Advisory Committee will rank and score projects based on the scoring criteria contained in the application materials. The deadline for applications is April 15, 2022. The Commission is accepting applications ranging from stormwater and sewer improvements to wastewater treatment and aquatic habitat restoration projects. The funding source, up to about $16 million for the year 2022 to help restore water quality, will come from 20% of the 2% annual CPF property transfer tax on real estate approved by voters.
