BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — The Bridgehampton Union Free School District recently announced that, “after 13 years of hard work, dedication and scholarship,” Kimberly Villa and Justin Urgiles will serve as valedictorian and salutatorian in 2024, respectively.
Valedictorian Kimberly Villa is interested in studying law in college. She is the varsity captain, head of the childcare program at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork in Bridgehampton and president of the Dream Team, a community organization that funds programs for teenagers. In her spare time, she volunteers at the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.
Salutatorian Justin Urgiles is interested in studying computer science in college. He is a member of the Vex robotics club, plays on two different travel soccer teams with Elite Soccer Long Island, and is currently attending a program where he will receive a certificate for completing Introduction to Computer Science in Python.
“These students are committed to academic success throughout their educational careers,” the district said.
