Bridgehampton High School basketball player Josh Lamison was recently honored by Legislator Jay Schneiderman (I-Montauk) at the Suffolk County Legislature's General Assembly for scoring 1,000 career points.
Typically, a high school basketball player will score 1,000 career points during his senior year.
However, Lamison reached that milestone a little earlier, becoming the fourth player in Bridgehampton school history to reach 1,000 points as a junior.
After graduating high school, Lamison hopes to play basketball in college and major in sports management.
The Killer Bees were undefeated in League VIII play and became the 2015 New York Class D State Champions.
Congratulations to Josh Lamison.
