SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — Southampton High School seniors have done their region and city proud.In recognition of their outstanding achievement on national Advanced Placement exams, 19 seniors earned Advanced Placement Scholar designations, the district said.Of those honored, seven were named AP Scholars, another 10 earned AP Scholar with Honor recognition and two were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction, officials added.To earn Scholar recognition, students must score a 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Information through Yardley and Pino Funeral HomeJohn Cilli, of Sag Harbor, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 18, about two months after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He was 87 years old.Cilli was born after his parents bought what is now known as part of the Cilli Farm in Sag Harbor. He worked for many years at Cove Side Dairy, the family dairy farm now known as Cilli Farm. BRIDGEHAMPTON, N.Y. — Four women were arrested after they stole more than $1,500 in merchandise from a Bridgehampton TJ Maxx — and then crashed their vehicle into a police car, authorities said.According to Southampton Police, the incident took place at 2.42pm on Thursday at the store in Bridgehampton Commons.
