RIVERSIDE, N.Y. — A Brentwood man was arrested after he bought a $4,000 car using money from movie props, police said.According to Southampton Police, on Oct. 23, a report came in from a man who said he sold his vehicle in Riverside for $4,000 to a man who had contacted him on Facebook Marketplace.After the man drove away, the seller realized the money he received was counterfeit, police said.
