SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. — Aiming to deal with the whales, turtles and seals that frequently wash up on local shores, Southampton city officials recently participated in marine mammal and sea turtle first response training.Southampton Town's public safety and emergency management department partnered with the Atlantic Marine Conservation Society to provide the training. BRIDGEHAMPTON, N.Y. — A Bridgehampton man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing into another vehicle at a gas station on Montauk Highway Monday night, police said.According to Southampton Police, the crash happened at approximately 6:58 pm at the Gulf gas station in Bridgehampton.
