NORTH FORK, N.Y. — A Southold man was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony driving while intoxicated in Cutchogue, police said.According to Southold Town Police, the incident occurred at 4:05 p.m. on Route 48. Police received multiple reports of the driver of a blue 2010 Chevrolet Silverado failing to maintain his lane.Callers said the driver nearly hit other cars after drifting out of his lane, police said. BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — Voters have spoken — and approved the Bridgehampton School District's proposed 2024 to 2025 school budget by a vote of 98-21.The budget, the Board of Education said, “all existing programs while continuing to enhance educational opportunities for students. The budget includes a modest increase in spending3.74 percent and a 3.34 percent tax increase, which is within the district's allowableupper limit of taxation”.
