MATTITUCK, NY — Local business owners were urged Wednesday to be on the lookout for counterfeit $100 bills first found circulating at Mattituck High School.The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce sent out a message Wednesday saying they received a call from Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District Superintendent Shawn Petretti saying counterfeit $100 bills had been found at the high school. “Please check any $100 bills that come into your business and notify the police immediately if you come across one.
