GREENPORT, NY —If you've always wanted to go extra—and you'd like to enjoy a delicious free dinner—a Greenport restaurant has the perfect opportunity.
A shooting event will be held on Wednesday, April 17, at the Front Street Station, located at 212 Front Street in Greenport, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
“Be a part of the action as we shoot scenes for our upcoming project at Front Street Station!” said owner Sharon Saylor. “Experience the magic behind the scenes and indulge in the delicious food prepared for the shoot.”
Sailor explained that the filming is for a new video, produced by SpotHopper, for the restaurant's website.
The new video will highlight Front Street Station, a family-owned business with deep North Fork roots.
“We're a hidden gem, a little off the beaten path at the end of our town,” Sailor said. “People need to get to know us. We are full of history, nostalgia and a truly family owned and operated business.”
The time is now to expand the exposure, Sailor said. “We struggled to overcome Covid and stay relevant and open. We did it! This is the next phase of our expansion. Whether we want to admit it or not, social media, the atmosphere and feel of a restaurant and overall promotion The your name out there, it has to be through social media. We have to follow the trends or be left behind. So now when you go to our site, you'll feel the vibe – see the history.”
The first 35 respondents will be able to enjoy “great times and free food,” he said. If you would like to participate, text Sharon Sailor at 516-384-7782.
