SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. —Traffic is being diverted on County Road 39 after a two-car crash Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Chris Brenner, public information officer for the Southampton Fire Department, said the crash happened around 3 p.m. in front of Goldberg's Bagels. The cars involved in the crash blocked westbound traffic, he said.
No injuries were reported, Brenner said.

While the crash was being investigated, cars were pulled into the turn lane to head west, Brenner said, adding that the crash slowed traffic on County Road 39. Fire crews worked to get the cars off the roadway.
After the investigation, the road reopened about 3:30 p.m., Southampton police remained on the scene and the fire department returned to headquarters, Brenner said.
